What we collect
When you fill out a form on this site — our contact form, a newsletter or interest sign-up, or a request for information — we collect what you choose to give us: your name, email address, and any details you add, such as whether you're an alum, your class year, your areas of interest, and your message.
How we use it
We use your information to respond to you, to send updates you've asked for (news, event invitations, and ways to help), and to plan and run our programs and events. We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to anyone.
Sharing with St. Gerald School
We will only share your contact information with St. Gerald School if you explicitly opt in by checking the box that offers it — for example, so the school's alumni office can stay in touch. If you don't check that box, we won't share your details with the school. You can ask us to stop at any time.
Service providers
We use trusted third-party tools to operate the site and manage communication. Right now those are Formspree, which delivers contact-form messages to us by email, and Kit, which stores our email list and sends our newsletters. As we add donation tools, we'll update this policy to name them. These providers process data on our behalf and are not permitted to use it for their own purposes.
Analytics & cookies
We use Google Analytics to understand how people find and use this site — which pages are read, which links are followed, and roughly which region visitors come from. It sets cookies in your browser. It does not store your full IP address, and we do not use it to identify individual visitors. We do not currently use it for advertising or remarketing; if that changes, we will say so here. You can opt out using Google's browser add-on, or by blocking cookies in your browser — the site works normally either way.
Email choices
Every newsletter we send includes an unsubscribe link, and you can opt out at any time. You can also reach us directly to update or remove your information.
Security & retention
This site is served over a secure (HTTPS) connection. We keep your information only as long as needed for the purposes above or as required by law, and we take reasonable steps to protect it.
Children's privacy
This site is intended for adults supporting the foundation. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Any student images appearing on this site are published only with appropriate consent.
Changes & contact
We may update this policy as the foundation grows; the date below reflects the latest version. Questions about your privacy or this policy? Email us at info@tgefoundation.org.
